PROPOSED REVISIONS TO SEABIRD AVOIDANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR VESSELS USING
HOOK-AND-LINE GEAR
IN GROUNDFISH AND HALIBUT FISHERIES OFF ALASKA
NMFS has published a proposed rule to revise the seabird avoidance
requirements for hook-and-line fisheries off Alaska, February 7, 2003;
Federal Register Vol 68, pages
6386-6399. Comments must be received by March 10, 2003. See the proposed
rule for details on submitting comments.
